ETERNAL PRAISE

Eternal Praise is searching!  They’re searching for that heart to touch – that soul to connect with.  They are a newly formed recording and performing vocal group based in Baltimore, Maryland, who all love the Lord and who all seek the same thing.  Listen to their songs or watch them perform and it doesn’t take you long to figure out what that “thing” is.  They simply want to change lives for the good of The Kingdom through their music ministry.  Their musical genre is gospel and inspirational, but their approach is quite different from a lot of gospel artist because their sound is not quote “ gospel”.  Upon hearing them, your first inclination is to just enjoy the beauty of their harmony, but once you listen to their lyrics, before long you are rejoicing in the Lord!

Comprised of four gentlemen with extensive vocal ranges and years of collective experience, their history together however, is relatively short.  They were formed in the summer of 2008.  The members consist of, Eric Smith (second tenor-bass), Greg Dunlap (falsetto-second tenor), Robert Milbourne (first tenor-alto), and Wayne Taylor (falsetto-bass).  All the members share lead vocal duties and easily transition from frontman to backup with effortless grace.  Since their inception, they have enjoyed live performances at such venues as Coppin State University in Baltimore, The Tiffany East Union Hall in Highlandtown, and The Westin Hotel at Baltimore-Washington Airport in Linthicum, Maryland.  They have entertained The Love’s Organization for their 2009 Annual Fund Raiser (where they were enthusiastically received) as well as the members of Centennial Caroline Church as the featured act for their 2009 Anniversary Celebration.  They were also joyously hailed as the sole performers at this year’s church service for the Butler-Braxton-Quarles & Roane family reunion, held here in Maryland.

From the onset, Eternal Praise made the decision to record and record they have.  They have been in the studio since October of 2008 working on their initial project and have recently released their debut single, “Trust in He”, on the Hizwill Music Label.  Hizwill Music is an independent company founded by Wayne Taylor along with the heartfelt blessings and support of the remaining members of the group.  The single has so far enjoyed an exciting reception from everyone who has heard it across the board!  It is a smooth and touching moderately paced song that draws you in ear-first, then holds you by your heart until you actually feel it’s message.     Released on October 19, 2009, it has already gotten airplay on local radio station 1010 AM (WOLB), and is for sale on Amazon.com as well as the group’s own website, www.hizwillmusic.com.  Eternal Praise has also completed shooting their debut video for their upcoming song, “Let’s Just Praise the Lord”, to be released in the spring of 2010.

To say that Eternal Praise is beginning to go to another level would be right in line with the truth.  They have enjoyed a return engagement for Centennial Caroline Church (hosted by Heaven 600’s Doresa Harvey).  They were the star attraction at a local christening.  They have recently been featured on 1010 AM (WOLB) for an on-air interview.  As well as working with several churches in and around the Baltimore area for various upcoming events.  Their single “Trust in He” is beginning to show even more promise and they are working with all the regional radio stations to “spread the word”!  You can contact them on www.myspace/eternalpraise.com or on Facebook and they are soon to be on “Itunes”!

With all that Eternal Praise has going for them, it seems like it won’t take long for them to find what they are searching for.  But once they do, they say to a man, they will begin a new search to touch a new heart and connect with a new soul!
